The Smart Infant Carrier is designed according to the i-Size regulation, and it can accommodate a baby from newborn up to 83 cm.
The Smart Infant Carrier was conceived from the principle of saving costs, by reducing the number of elements, in order to have a more affordable product for the majority of end users without compromising at the same time the highest safety standards.
The ISOfix connectors, designed on purpose for this car seat using light weighted and high resistant material, are placed inside a lodging that opens when the ISOfix connectors are used in the car and closes when the Infant Carrier is used outside the car.
In this way is avoided the use of an ISOfix base.
The weight of the Carrier is under 5 kg, in line with Infant Carriers that do not have integrated ISOfix connectors.
Beside occupying less space in the car, this Smart Infant Carrier further reduces the risk of misuse since there are no fixed elements that remain installed and unchecked for a long time. Instead end user needs to repeat and check the installation every time the Infant Carrier is placed inside the car.
