An Experienced Team for CRS Development

Due to the success of the first project ZAAFDesign has done for TechPapa, the company has approached our team again for a new project in order to have an experienced team in CRS development that could achieve the same results. The objective of the project was to create the Style Design around the structure provided by TechPapa that could meet the standard requirements of i-Size regulation.

Style Design for Child Restraint Systems

ZAAFDesign has worked for this project on the style design that has been created around the structure provided by TechPapa.

The first step of our work has been the creation of a number of sketches views for our Client evaluation and selection.

Once the aesthetic lines have been frozen, we have created the 3D file of the external surfaces that have been constructed according to the envelop fitting required by the i-Size regulation. This step enables to deliver to the client a perfect mathematical model that will comply with the regulation requirements.
The style 3D files have been closed and delivered to the client once all the aesthetic and structural requirements perfectly combined together in order to proceed with the first prototype for pre-tests assessment and to produce the final 3D model for mold making.
Results

A New Style Design That Meets i-Size Regulation And Manufacturing Requirements

Child Restraint System development requires high technical skills also for style side that needs to be created according to standards and manufacturing requirements. From first sketches views to the final 3D file we were able to transfer the same style conceived at a early stage to the final product by taking into account all the issues that exist in order to reach production phase.
